Question by Liz: Does anyone know of some cheap wedding packages here in Japan?
I live in Yokota air base. My husband is in the military and we’re already married in papers. I am half Japanese but I grew up in the Philippines so I don’t know Japan that well and I can’t speak fluent Japanese. Anyway, we want to have a wedding ceremony but we’re on a budget. Up to like 00.
I also need a wedding dress and Tux for my hubby.

I live in Misawa and It is my understanding that there is pretty much no such thing as a cheap wedding here. All the japanese weddings I have heard of were big affairs as japanese usually invite their whole extended family and friends and go all out for such a party. Also, in Japan they rent wedding dresses, but it is still really expensive.

Why don’t you get married in the states so his family can be there? I see no reason to get married in Japan if it is away from your and his family anyways and the Philippines is not really the place for a wedding. ( No offense but it sounds like you want something nice and I have been to the Philippines myself. It was nice, but not the place people who are not cultured are going to enjoy ex: his family)

All-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean are usually home to multiple restaurants, tons of onsite activities, and more. You can never leave the resort grounds and still have the trip of a lifetime.

Most importantly, all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean give you more than just a roof over your head. Your stay should include food, drinks, tips, qualifying airport transfers, your room or suite, and some forms of onsite entertainment. Caribbean weddings, however, may cost extra.

The Possibility of a Free Wedding

As previously stated, your Caribbean wedding may cost extra, but some resorts limit these costs. In fact, some even offer free standard wedding ceremonies with a minimum nights stay. This means that if you stay 5-nights, your actual wedding ceremony may be free of charge! How neat does that sound?

The Ability to Customize Your Wedding

Regardless of whether you opt for a free Caribbean wedding or outright pay the entire costs, you want the ability to customize your wedding. After all, it is your special day. All resorts should have on their websites, a list of upgrades or wedding features that you can purchase for an affordable fee.
