Question by pepe: I work shooting wedding videos, how can I find clients?
In the begging I started by doing free stuff for friends and family. Usually I get hired by companies to shoot their wedding videos, but they pay me by the hour and not by the job. So they make the big bucks and I get a small share. I want to know how to find these jobs on my own in order to charge them my price, which is the same as a company price but at least I get most of the pay for “my” work. thanks in advance

VIDEOS: Thousands expected at state trooper’s funeral after outpouring at wake in Brockton
Thousands of police officers from as far away as California are expected to attend the funeral on Wednesday for state police Sgt. Douglas Weddleton, after hundreds paid their respects at the wake in Brockton Tuesday afternoon. Weddleton was killed early Friday during a traffic stop on Interstate 95 in Mansfield. Two videos are below the story.

Question by Newbie: Do copyright rules apply to wedding videos?
My company recently hired a wedding videographer to document and take videos of a historic company event. We paid the videographer his fees and in return he gave us a DVD of the raw footage. He has asked that we return the DVD because he forgot to mark the footage with copyrights displaying that the footage is owned by him. Since we paid him his fees, shouldn’t we own all rights to the video?
